The course – condensed

A simple strategy to show students where we are, where we’re going and how things connect.

Simply by using the documents provided by exam boards or found through quick online searches it’s easy to condense course content into an A3 spread. ¬†Examples of this can be seen below for History.

Strategies for use:

  • This year with Y11 students have (independently to my delight) been using them as a basis for checking understanding and making links across time periods.
  • At A-Level they’re accompanied by marks schemes to focus students thinking during assessments.
  • Share them with parents to give them a better chance at supporting revision effectively.
